History

Founded in 1992 in São Paulo, Viver initially operated within the residential (low-to-high income segments) and commercial developments (offices, corporate towers and medical buildings, as well as mixed-use and built-to-suit projects). The Company has also developed 20 hotels in the 2 to 5 star categories and resort projects.

In 2007, the Company successfully completed its initial public offering, raising R$756 million from a 100% primary offering. Viver used the proceeds to strengthen its land bank and expand its activities by moving into other regions of the country.

In December 2008, Paladin Prime Residential Investors (Brazil), a property fund managed by Paladin Realty Partners, a US-based private equity firm focusing on emerging countries with more than 10 years experience in property investment in Latin America, became the Company’s main controlling shareholder.

In recent years, the Company has undergone an extensive restructuring process, with the adoption of new values and attitudes, prioritizing a more conservative approach to financial management with more transparent and streamlined processes, and the selection of strategic operational markets, and improved client relations.

In April 2011, the Company changed its name from Inpar S.A. to Viver Incorporadora e Construtora S.A.
